Bodleian Library Oxfordshire

Sometimes the most memorable weddings are the ones where things don’t go to plan. and M&As celebration proved that rain can't dampen wedding day joy.

Torrential downpours threatened the day, but with a well prepared wet weather contingency in place, the ceremony was moved to the stunning dining hall at Oriel College, the very place where Maya and Alex first met. It was serendipitous perfection. Their celebrant beautifully interwove both of their cultural traditions, creating a deeply meaningful ceremony.

Undeterred by the weather, the newlyweds left in a vintage car and embraced the rain for one of the day's most iconic moments, showered in vibrant confetti beneath Oxford's famous Bridge of Sighs.

As evening fell, guests arrived at the magnificent Bodleian Library, one of Oxford's most prestigious venues, Divinity School was transformed with an explosion of gorgeous, colourful blooms that brought warmth and vibrancy to the ancient architecture.

Proof that with the right attitude (and the right planner), even a washout can become unforgettable.
