Rhodes House, Oxford
A&K brought me in to plan their Oxford wedding at Rhodes House while both were deep in the final stages of their PhDs. With dissertations looming and no time to spare, they needed clarity, pace and firm direction. The entire celebration was designed and delivered in under four months, without compromise on atmosphere or detail.
They quietly broke with tradition and chose to get ready together on the morning of the wedding, creating a calm, united and genuinely lovely atmosphere dancing in their lounge together. The day continued with a heartfelt blessing in the gardens, followed by a relaxed drinks reception with garden games and live music. Guests then gathered in the main dining room for a Kosher family sharing feast, before speeches and dancing.
